Marketing the specialist services
of a leading Australian architecture firm

The Challenge

Leading architecture firm, Stanton Dahl, required strategic and executional support for an ongoing series of targeted B2B communications. Based in Sydney and Melbourne, Stanton Dahl’s positioning is focused on being a socially conscious practice delivering ‘architecture in the service of people’. We were engaged to work with the team on a strategic business shift in the social and affordable housing segment moving towards the positioning of purposeful design, delivering for a range of specialist housing solutions that reflected broader changes in the Architecture industry.

The Strategy

Stanton Dahl has been designing living spaces that cater for the unique needs of individuals, respecting dignity and enhancing personal wellbeing for over 40 years. In recent years the specialist housing, retirement living and aged care categories have become increasingly complex, presenting an opportunity for Stanton Dahl to promote its leadership in this space. The strategy? Leverage their proven expertise in Seniors Living, Aged Care, Social and Affordable Housing, Family and Domestic Violence Accommodation and Specialist Disability Accommodation – whilst simultaneously promoting their evolved offering in this space: ’Purposeful Design, Spaces for Living’.


The Creative

Given the fragmented nature of the specialist living sector, the strategy needed to be communicated across multiple touch-points in specialised vertical markets. After an in-depth briefing with the client, we developed a series of highly targeted B2B campaigns to launch the ‘Purposeful Design’ message to the market. Tactics included direct marketing, online advertising in industry publications and conference activations. A dedicated microsite was also created, demonstrating Stanton Dahl’s unrivalled capabilities through in-depth case studies and a clean and seamless UX design.

The Results

Working closely with the Stanton Dahl marketing team, we were able to successfully raise awareness of their expertise and leadership in design for the specialist residential living sector.
