Direct Mail campaign for the launch of a new water sports brand 

The Marketing Clan was briefed on developing an invitation to water sports retailers to the Australian launch event for the new brand Enth Degree.

High performance clothing, also known as technical or active wear, is one of the fastest-growing apparel markets globally – making it a major opportunity for manufacturers and retailers alike.

Enth Degree is a range of high performance technical water sports wear for use in and on the water for a number of activities including scuba diving, kite surfing, stand up paddling, kayaking and surf.

The products feature pioneering garment technologies to enhance athletic performance by helping to control the body’s core temperature longer. The range of garments were tested by professional athletes in the harshest of environments across Australia and New Zealand and their highly technical features and designs provide a unique offering to the water sports market.

For the launch of this homegrown Australian brand, we were asked to develop an impactful direct mail piece as an exclusive invitation to the retailer event in Melbourne. Being a new entrant to the market, we needed to create a memorable communication campaign piece that brought to life the passion, exhilaration and feeling for these water sports.

‘H2WHOAH’ was the campaign idea that expressed the feeling of being immersed in a water based adventure sport, the place in which it takes you and the achievement that so many athletes feel when doing what they love.

We created a personalised direct mail piece that introduced the brand and it’s story, the product range and the market opportunity. We also utilised the re-usable packaging that all the Enth Degree products come in to re-enforce the brand values whilst being a unique outer for the mail pack.
